Terms of service
These terms apply when you create a SocialChat account or use the service. By signing up you agree to them on behalf of yourself and your business.
Last updated 1 October 2026
Your account
You must give accurate details, keep your password safe and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. The person who creates a business account is its owner and is responsible for who they invite and what roles they give.
Using the service fairly
- Only message people who have agreed to hear from you, and honour requests to stop.
- Follow the rules of each platform you connect, including the WhatsApp Business Policy, Meta's terms and Google's policies.
- Do not send spam, unlawful content or anything that infringes other people's rights.
- Do not try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or reach data that is not yours.
We may suspend an account that breaks these rules or puts other customers at risk, and we will tell you why.
Your data
You own the content and customer data you bring into SocialChat. You give us permission to process it only to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy. You are responsible for having the right to use your customers' data and for telling them how you use it.
Connected platforms and their fees
WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Telegram, TikTok, Google, Stripe and other services you connect are run by their own companies under their own terms. Their fees, such as Meta's charges for WhatsApp template messages, are billed by them to you and are not part of your SocialChat plan. A platform may change or withdraw features, which can affect what SocialChat can do.
Plans and payment
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance at the prices shown on our pricing page. You can change or cancel your plan at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Each plan has limits on team size, channels and monthly volume.
Prices are in US dollars. You pay in Pakistani rupees, by debit or credit card or Easypaisa account through Easypaisa's secure payment page; the amount in rupees is worked out at our current exchange rate when you pay and shown before you confirm. We never see or store your card details. An upgrade starts as soon as you pay for the rest of the current period. Invoices are due within 7 days; if one is still unpaid 7 days after that, your account keeps working with the Starter plan's limits until it is paid. Refunds are described in our refund policy.
AI assistant
AI-written replies can be wrong. You decide whether the assistant answers customers, what it knows, and when it hands over to your team, and you remain responsible for messages sent from your account.
Availability
We work to keep SocialChat available and secure, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted, for example during maintenance or when a connected platform has problems.
Ending the service
You can close your account at any time. We may end the service for an account after notice if these terms are seriously broken. After closing, you can ask us for an export of your data within 30 days.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, SocialChat is provided as it is, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data that you could reasonably have backed up.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service grows. We will change the date above and tell account owners by email about important changes before they apply.
